"But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: Love, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!" Galatians 5:22-23

Just like fruit grows on trees, good things grow in us when Jesus lives in our hearts. The Bible calls these the fruit of the spirit. They are love joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. He produces only good things in us.
